Transparent oils are applied to a dry mounted or canvas mounted color print to enhance the subjectÔø‡Ôø‡Ôø‡s flesh tones, make-up, clothing, as well as any props such as jewelry, bridal bouquet, etc. Highlights and shadows are accented as well. A clear brush stroke is applied to the background (this technique is optional). Finally, the print is sprayed with a protective coat.
This technique works best using a single subject/portrait background prints. However, environmental backgrounds can be oiled at an additional charge of $25.00.
Please provide detailed instructions regarding areas of the print that you wish to have enhanced or any areas that require special attention.
